I wanted to thank you for
the opportunity to work with you and your company in the
development of the Child Passenger Safety Training
Dolls. I provide several Child Passenger Safety
Technician trainings each year and during this process
we don’t have access to “Live” children. I have a bag
full of bears, stuffed animals and various dolls to
assist students in choosing and fitting the proper seat
to a child’s height and weight. None of these
truly represented the correct size and weight of a
child. The training dolls, which you have designed to
approximate the height, weight and specific age of a
child, are a tremendous tool, which provide our students
a more “true to life” model of a child, to use in the
demonstration of the proper fit and installation of
children in safety seats. Learning in our classes is
enhanced by providing students a “hands on” exercise
which mimics real life scenarios. Thanks so much
for taking the time to work with the Kansas Safety Belt
Education Office in the development of our training
“babies” and providing us a training tool that will be
used for all our statewide trainings.
